Resources 06 - Mental Health and LD

The World Health Organization (WHO) says that “mental health is a state of well-being in which every individual realizes his or her own potential, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to make a contribution to her or his community.”

In other words, mental health is about how we cope with the different events in our lives, and how they affect our emotions. Part of how we maintain good mental health is by having a well-balanced life.
