LDAK Zoom Privacy Policy:

LDAK respects your privacy and has taken steps to protect your personal information. LDAK may record some of their webinars and other Zoom events and may post these recordings to platforms such as the LDAK website, Vimeo, YouTube and other platforms that will enhance access to learning supports.  Please note:
 

  1. LDAK will remind participants that a Zoom meeting is being recorded when participants enter the Zoom waiting room.

  2. Participants are not required to activate their cameras/video or microphones.

  3. The LDAK Zoom account has disabled the ability for participant recording meaning that only LDAK can record the Zoom meeting through the Zoom platform. Please note that LDAK has no control over personal recordings of Zoom events by participants.

  4. LDAK does not publish or display chat history in recordings or any other platform. The LDAK Zoom chat is saved for informational purposes only and does not include personal messages between attendees.

  5. LDAK recordings are encrypted. Only LDAK staff have access to the original recordings.


Tips for enhancing your privacy during an LDAK Zoom webinar/event:
 

  • Turn off your video/camera.

  • When you enter Zoom, use just your first name or an alias. You can also rename yourself once you enter the meeting.

  • Turn off your microphone and use the chat feature to communicate.

  • You do not need a Zoom account to attend a Zoom event! Simply click the Zoom link invitation and join us!
